1. Services
Yowie Websites provides website design, development, hosting, domain name registration/resale, and related digital services. All services are supplied as outlined in your approved quote, proposal or service agreement.
2. Quotes and Pricing
- All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
- Yowie Websites is not registered for GST; no GST will be added to invoices.
3. Payments
- A deposit may be required before work begins; the balance is due on completion unless otherwise agreed.
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, credit/debit card, or over-the-phone payments.
- A 2.2% surcharge applies to payments made over the phone to cover card processing costs.
- Late payments may delay delivery or result in suspension of services.
4. Hosting Services
Hosting resold by Yowie Websites is provided via third-party data centres and suppliers. While we choose reliable providers, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We are not liable for data loss, downtime, or interruptions caused by third-party providers, cyberattacks, or user error. Clients should maintain regular backups; backup services can be arranged on request.
5. Domain Name Registrations
Domain services are provided through accredited registrars. Legal ownership of a domain rests with the client once payment is complete. Clients must keep contact details up to date and are responsible for timely renewals. Yowie Websites is not liable for domain loss due to non-renewal or registrar issues.
6. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, ownership of the final website design and unique content created specifically for you transfers to you. We retain ownership of proprietary tools, templates, and code libraries. We may display completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
7. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide content, images, access and feedback promptly and to ensure supplied materials do not infringe third-party rights. You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yowie Websites is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
If you cancel after work has started, you may be charged for work completed. Deposits, hosting and domain registration fees are generally non-refundable once services are activated.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time; the latest version will be posted on our website. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance.
